In mirror image left side and right side changed vice - versa where top and bottom remain same. See below example to understand in brief.

These are few images which always have the same reflection as are in water, i.e. -

            In alphabet : C, D, E, H, I, K, O, X - Total → (8)

            In small alphabet : c, l, o, x - Total → (4)

            In number system : 0, 3, 8 - Total → (3)

          In geometry :

Let's Come Water image short tricks

The reflection of an object into the water is called its water image, it is obtained by inverting an object vertically. Some time it happens that 'water image' looks like as 'mirror image' specially in 'Geometrical images' but lies of it, those having some differences between them.

The figure obtain by putting water in front of the real image is known as water image or we can say that the reflection of an object into the water is called its water image.

From the above figure, it is clear that in a water image top and bottom of an image become change, but LHS (Left Hand Side) and RHS (Right Hand Side) does not change.

Special Trick for Students
